Tonight on the menu is a rich and cheesy homestyle lasagna! We are going to be using the newest addition to the Capa di Roma sauces: the Three Cheese Sauce!
There's never a limit on cheesy goodness in our kitchen, so our lasagna is no exception. If you've worked up an appetite today for a delicious, savory dinner, you've come to the right place!
What you'll need:
- 15 lasagna noodles
- 2 jars of Capa di Roma Three Cheese Sauce
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese- shredded
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese- shredded
- 2 eggs
- 16 oz. of cottage cheese
- dried oregano to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. First we are going to cook our noodles. In a large pot, bring to boil lightly salted water and throw in your noodles. It's important to not over-cook the noodles. They should still be a little firm when finished.
Mix the eggs, parmesan cheese, cottage cheese, and mozzarella cheese together in a medium mixing bowl.
: In a 9 x 13 pan, lay out four noodles side by side. Cover your first layer with your three cheese sauce, followed by your cheese mixture from step 2. This is going to be your pattern until you reach the top of the pan. Finish with a layer of sauce and sprinkled parmesan cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and cook in the oven for about 30 minutes. Then, cook for another 10 minutes uncovered to brown the cheese on top.
Buon appetito cheese lovers!
