It's the never disappointing side dish/appetizer that's too easy not to make: garlic bread! Today we have a 5 ingredient, 10 minute recipe to deliciousness so let's break it down.
What you'll need:
- one loaf of crusty Italian bread
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- Grated cheese
- fresh parsley, chopped
Slice your bread in half (the long way) and pop in the oven face down to toast.
Combine crushed garlic cloves, butter, and oil in a small pot over medium heat until the butter melts.
When bread is lightly toasted, remove from oven and brush a (generous!) layer of your sauce over the surface. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top and put back in the oven for another minute until the cheese melts.
