How To Make A Hearty Bolognese Sauce

Today we're bringing you a hearty, lovely Bolognese sauce for your next pasta dish.  With a base of Capa di Roma sauce, you can't go wrong with this easy dish! 

What you'll need:
  • 1/4 cup Capa di Roma Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 carrot chopped
  • 1 celery stalk chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • parmesan cheese to top it off!
Step 1: In a large sauce pan, pour your olive oil and saute your garlic and onion on a medium/low heat.

Step 2: Once the onions have softened, add the carrot and celery and saute all together for a few minutes.

Step 3: Add the beef and raise the heat to medium/high. Saute until all the meat has browned.

Step 4: Pour in your sauce, parsley, and salt and pepper, and let cook over a low heat for around 20 minutes.  

Step 5: Pour over the pasta of your choice and top with parmesan cheese!
