In addition to our selection of sauces here at Capa di Roma, we have a rich and delicious aged balsamic vinegar that we import from the birthplace of balsamic vinegar: Modena, Italy!

There are a number of ways you can incorporate and enjoy balasamic vinegar in your kitchen, and we're here to give you some scrumptious suggestions! But first, here are a few facts about our aged balsamic vinegar.

Capa di Roma aged balsamic vinegar is...
  • made with Trebbiano grapes from Modena Italy
  • aged in an oak barrel for 8-10 years
  • has distinct flavors and the perfect balance of sweet and sour
Here are 5 super easy dishes that could use a little balsamic vinegar!

1. A classic Italian use for balsamic vinegar is as a salad dressing with olive oil! It's just the right amount of flavor, without the calories and additives of many store-brand dressings.

2. Balsamic roasted brussel sprouts! I think we'll have to write a whole blog post for this one because brussel sprouts are at their best when paired with balsamic vinegar.

3. Drizzled over a caprese salad.  It's the necessary final step of a fresh, caprese salad!

4. As a glaze over a roast beef.  A high quality balsamic like ours makes the perfect rich and flavorful glaze for a roast.

5. Roasted balsamic carrots.  Balsamic vinegar adds incredible flavor to roasted vegetables.

I'm starting to think we'll have a lot more delicious recipes coming up on the blog! :)
A presto!
